He has authored over 50 technical articles, none of them comedies | | Gordon Bergholtz - Producer | | This is Gordon’s first role as Producer for the Scripps Ranch Theatre. Prior to producing at SRT, he has created many sound designs for SRT productions. He did the sound designs for Killjoy, Murder in Green Meadows, and for the show you will be enjoying now, Return Engagements. He has also held the responsibility of sound technician for many previous productions and will do the same for Return Engagements. When not involved in theatre fun, Gordon likes to travel, read, play his guitars (“it goes to eleven”), and enjoy the great outdoors as much as possible. | | | | Nadine Lindseth (Assistant Director and Stage Manager) Nadine is a graduate of UCSD's theatre and dance program. While attending school she worked on several shows there as well as numerous dance concerts. She has stage managed at various theatres all over San Diego including Story Theatre and Einstein Comes Through at NCRT; M.Butterfly, Thief River and Fit to be Tied at Diversionary Theatre; and The Actor's Alliance Festival at the Lyceum. Thanks to everyone who has supported her | | | Tim Deaton (Assistant Producer) For more than four years, Tim Deaton has been a key member of our Scripps Ranch Theatre. He got started in theatre in 1989 at Theater on the Green in Greenville, SC where he acted in various shows as well as performing many duties behind the scenes. Here at Scripps Ranch Theatre, Tim is on the Board of Directors and wears the jack-of-all-trades hat. If you have seen a show at Scripps Ranch Theatre in the past 4 years, then guaranteed you have seen some of Tim’s fine work. | | | Rick Carlson (Construction Manager) Rick has worked on the sets for every SRT production in the past four years. He has designed some and helped out with others. He enjoys building sets, but his true reward comes when the actors bring a set to life. He has had the pleasure of working with many talented actors and directors. Rick has been a Police Officer for 35 years. His talents include painting and he has a book that will be published this summer. In 2002 he received Aubrey Awards for Set Design for Lend Me A Tenor and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Karina Montgomery (Set Decorator) Karina has been on stage at SRT three times since 2001 and occasionally lends a hand to the various mise-en-scene of the shows here, most memorably the giant coffee machine in How to Succeed in Business. She last dressed the set of Murder in Green Meadows. When not dabbling in the theatre, Karina is a member of the Online Film Critics Society, hoping to make that her job one-day. She is excited to work with John Simonds again. My eternal thanks to Sharon Hays, who made me what I am. Scott Padrick (Lighting Design)Scott is pleased to be returning to SRT. An active local designer, Scott has design credits with many corporate, theatrical and religious organizations all over the United States. He recently moved from Los Angeles where he finished a five-year engagement with the Walt Disney Company and is currently employed with Pacific Event Services in San Diego, where he brings a bit of the theater to many unusual places. When Scott is not making magic with lights, he enjoys gourmet cooking, back-country excursions and water sports. Roger Drexler (Property Master) Roger returns to SRT to recreate a part he has played several times on this stage. Many of you will remember his work getting, setting, and cleaning the drinking glasses in “Rumors”. Who can forget his careful placement of the many tombstone leaves in the “Cemetery Club”? His craftsmanship highlighted the show “Killjoy” with the essential prop composed of thirty photographs carefully pieced together. That same level of skill and talent is applied for this production. Anna Ashmore (Lighting Technician) Anna is very excited to be working for SRT again. She has been involved in theatre for the past 4 years, at Westview High and POWPAC. Anna plans on Majoring in theatre and maybe later on becoming a drama teacher. When not involved in a show, Anna loves to horseback ride and spend time with friends.
