Synopsis:
An Off-Broadway smash hit, this zany, touching and
exuberant comedy is howlingly funny. Greg, disillusioned by his job and
undergoing a mid-life crisis, finds Sylvia, a stray dog, in the park.
Greg's wife Kate is not at all happy about sharing her apartment, and her
husband's affections, with the dog, a shameless flirt who not only talks
back when spoken to, but also quotes Homer and sings Cole Porter.
Celebrating the wonderfulness of dogs, this quirky comedy keeps the laughs
coming while plunging thru the compromises we inevitably make in all of
our relationships.

“Gurney’s
mad comedy is the most endearing good time to trot down the pike in many a
moon.”

“This is
must-see theater… for the clever commentary on life and love in the middle
years. You will never look at Fido or Fifi the same way again.”
