Nadine Lindseth
(Producer)
This is Nadine’s
second time producing at SRT. Her very first production was Little
Mary Sunshine also at SRT and most recently she produced Cabaret
at Onstage Playhouse. Nadine graduated from UCSD with a dual degree in
theatre and dance and has generally worked as a stage manager for a
variety of events all over San Diego. She thanks this talented
cast/crew, RJ and all the volunteers for their help in putting these
shows on and hopes you enjoy the show! Much love to family and friends! |

Raylene J. Wall
(Director)
Raylene (RJ) is
excited to be working with Nadine and Scripps Ranch Theatre (SRT) again
after directing at other theatres around San Diego. Most recently, RJ
directed Agnes of God at PowPAC (in Poway) and Cabaret at
Onstage Playhouse (in Chula Vista) in 2007. With almost 40 years
experience in theatre, RJ has directed and designed sets for several
award-winning productions at SRT including: Little Mary Sunshine
(2006), Once Upon A Mattress (2004), Fatal Attraction (2003), How
to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (2002), Fences (2001, set
design), Cemetery Club (1998), Pinocchio Comedia! (1997) and Play On!
(1996). Some of her other technical and directing credits in San
Diego include: Cemetery Club (set design) at PowPAC, Beyond
Therapy (lighting) at PowPAC, Godspell (directing and set design)
at Onstage Playhouse, Taking Chances (set design and author)
at Sledgehammer Theatre (for Arjay Productions); Movie Queens
(directing and set design), A Late Snow (directing and set
design), and Truth and Beauty (directing and sound design) at
Diversionary Theatre; and Everything in the Garden (lighting) at
SRT. |

Chad Oakley (Lighting
Design)
Chad is happy to
back at Scripps Ranch after stage managing "Play it Again Sam". He just
finished producing "Ordinary People" at OnStage Playhouse. He also
recently did lighting design for Cemetary Club at PowPAC. He is pleased
to be lighting some great actors and working for the always excellent
and challenging Raylene Wall. |
Carolyn Wheat Koenig
(Assistant Director)
While this is
Carolyn’s third role as Assistant Director, it is her first production
at Scripps Ranch Theatre.; most recently, she worked on Agnes of God
at PowPAC. Her most recent appearance on stage was at PowPAC in
Night Watch, for which she earned an Aubrey nomination for her role
as Elaine. Carolyn has also received Aubrey nominations for her work in
PowPAC’s Dial ‘M’ for Murder and OnStage’s Birthday
Suite and Dancing at Lughnasa. Other roles include: Ophelia
in Hamlet, Bianca in The Taming of the Shrew, and
Alice Sycamore in You Can’t Take It With You. |

Debbie Blue (Costumes)
Debbie is excited to
be doing costumes for SRT. She previously did props for SRT’s
production of The O’Connor Girls and helped some with the
costumes. As Bees in Honey Drown is her first time as an actual
costumer. With a cast of ten and numerous character and costume
changes, this has been a challenge which she has enjoyed. Debbie’s been
to most of the thrift shops in the San Diego area and now knows where
the majority of the clothing discount stores are and how to find a
bargain. She has enjoyed working with Raylene and the talented cast and
crew. She is looking forward to costuming other plays in the future.
It’s been a rewarding experience.

Holly Stephenson (Stage
Manager)
This production
marks Holly’s first time working with Scripps Ranch Theatre. While she
is primarily known for acting (most recently as Hannah in Night of the
Iguana at OnStage Playhouse), she has had some experience working on
shows, behind the scenes, around San Diego. Holly would like to thank
Raylene for giving her this great opportunity. She would also like to
thank the talented cast and crew for all of their hard work and for
putting up with her. An extra thank you goes out to Kat for stepping in
and helping her out! Enjoy the show! |

Sharon Bowen (Sound
Operator)
Sharon has been
involved in theater for only a few years. (This is her second time at
SRT having worked on costumes for Little Mary Sunshine two seasons
ago.)She is usually a behind the scenes woman working as a stage manager
but enjoys all aspects of the theatre. Special thanks to all her great
friends! |
Sharon Boskovich
(Lighting Operator)
Sharon is pleased
to be returning to the technical booth for the fourth time this season.
She has been the lighting operator for six previous plays at SRT, the
most recent being the staged reading of The Madwoman of Chaillot.
Sharon has also been involved in other local theater projects as an
actor, assistant director and producer. For her "day job," Sharon is a
speech pathologist with the Mountain Empire Unified School District.

Rob Conway (Evan Wyler)
Rob is a resident of
Scripps Ranch and is very excited to be performing so close to home. He
was most recently seen around San Diego as “Reverend Shannon” in The
Night of the Iguana, as “Ralphie Parker” in a staged reading of A
Christmas Story and in an Aubrey Award winning role of “Adam” in
The Shape of Things. Other local theatrical credits include Mambo
Italiano, Tall Tale in the AASD Festival and Pieces in the
Fritz Blitz. Rob has also appeared in local television
commercials, minor roles in independent films and background in several
movies and television shows. Rob would like to thank Raylene for her
top-notch direction, confidence and vision. He would also like to thank
all of his friends for their uncompromising support and the patrons for
their much-appreciated support of community theater! |

Karla Francesca (Alexa
Vere de Vere)
Karla is happy to be
back on the stage at Scripp's Ranch Theatre. Other credits here include
Perfect Wedding, Scapino!, Blithe Spirit, and most
recently, Play It Again, Sam. She graduated from UCSD with a
degree in theater, and has enjoyed working at other theaters around town
including North Coast Rep, PowPAC, 6th@Penn, and OnStage Playhouse. She
is currently working on developing her screenplay entitled, "My Man, His
Juice, and Life of a Cue-ball". Love to Family and Friends for their
endless support. |

Brian P. Evans (Mike
Stabinsky)
Brian is making his
debut at Scripps Ranch. A graduate of San Diego State University with
an MFA in Musical Theatre and an intern at the Royal National Theatre in
London, Brian has been seen in San Diego most recently at OnStage
Playhouse in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged)
as the one who gets the wig and in Cabaret as Cliff. Other
favorite roles include Mozart in Amadeus, Nicodemus/Lady Enid in
The Mystery of Irma Vep, Judas in Godspell, Schroeder in
You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, the Producer in Six
Characters in Search of an Author, Brad in The Rocky Horror Show,
Mickey in The Normal Heart, Antonio in The Tempest, and
Freddie/Philip in Noises Off! |

Anthony D. Bell (Morris
Kaden)
Anthony was born and
raised right here in sunny San Diego. Anthony first got the acting bug
when he was 13 years old and has been active in theater for the last six
years. Some of Anthony’s theatrical credits include Bench Warmers, The
Red Lamp, Prodigal Son, Poet of The People, Passion & Honey, Ma
Rainey’s Black Bottom Sassy(Sarah Vaughn) and the role of Ma’ Deah in
Black Girl. His film credits include My Secret Body Guard, Beat Down,
Diana Payne and Batwomen vs. Catgirl. TV credits include Bail Bonds
commercial on BET and Free Plasma.com commercial. Anthony’s current goal
is to be able to leave his full time profession as a banker and become a
full time actor in Hollywood. |

Robin Dye (Morris
Kaden’s Secretary)
Robin is thrilled to
be making her debut with Scripps Ranch Theatre! She has been performing
since she was a child and has appeared on stage in productions of
Guys and Dolls, Inherit the Wind, Gypsy, Stage Door, Tom Jones, Look
Homeward Angel, Hansel & Gretel, Oklahoma, The Lion the Witch and the
Wardrobe, Were You There?, Elvis and the Angels, It’s a Wonderful Life,
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and A Christmas Story. She
has also had the opportunity to direct productions of Adam & Eve,
The Pipe in the Feilds, and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.

Tyler Herdklotz (Skunk)
Tyler is excited to
be performing in his first production at Scripps Ranch Theatre. He has
previously worked with D.J. Sullivan in a staged reading of "THE
CATONSVILLE 9". He's currently also in the production of Tony and Cleo
at 6th@Penn Theatre. He enjoys the smell of fresh laundry,
moonlit nights, and the company of very rich women.

Ryan Murphy
(Ronald/Enrique)
Ronald is currently attending Miramar
College and hopes to transfer to UCLA next semester. This is his first
time appearing at Scripps Ranch Theatre but he has been in numerous
shows and short film projects. He would love to thank his family and
friends for their continued support of his dream. |

Janet Kelly (Greek
Chorus)
Since graduating from Larry Goodman’s Actors Studio 11 years ago,
Janet has played everything from the Virgin Mary to an ax murderer on
San Diego stages. Her all-time favorite role was the leading lady in
It’s My Party and I’ll Die if I Want To, an interactive murder
mystery comedy that enjoyed a one-year run with H.I.T. Productions in La
Mesa. She was last seen in La Pastorela de la Estrella at the
Old Globe in 2006, and she is delighted to be returning to SRT, where
she has appeared in five productions and has won two SRT Best Actress
Awards for performances in The Man Who Came to Dinner and Play
On. By day, she is happily employed as a merchandiser/writer in East
County |

Lisa Palmer (Greek Chorus)
Lisa has acted in various on-stage and on-camera productions in San
Diego and Denver, Colorado, where she lived previously. She performed
with the Fault Line Theatre in the comedic one-acts The Art of
Detection and Timid. Her Denver credits include the lead role
of Vera Claythorne in the murder mystery Ten Little Indians and
the flighty and fun supporting role of Essie Carmichael in You Can’t
Take it With You. Lisa’s on-camera experience includes the lead in
Bad Guy One, an independent feature film shot in various
parts of San Diego County. She has also acted in a number of student
film projects. Lisa is enjoying her “multiple personalities” in As
Bees in Honey Drown and hopes to be part of future SRT productions.

Rena Lyon (Greek
Chorus)
Rena graduated with a degree in theater from Wright State University,
upon moving to California she has worked with North Coast Rep; 6th@Penn;
and is part of Chronos Theater Group. She has played Erica in SubUrbia;
a loopy pychologist in Beyond Therapy; and various characters from The
Search for Intelligent Life in The Universe. She wished to thank her
parents for their encouragement and her husband for his support.
