This hilarious farce set box-office records in Paris, London and New York. This is the tale of two unlikely partners in a fur salon, Bodley the philanderer and Crouch the guileless innocent. The action of the play involves girlfriends, suspicious husbands and wives, intrigue, scantily clad girls clapped hurriedly into closets, the usual mistaken identities and non-stop laughter.
“What does an audience do? It rolls in the aisles …” -- Variety
"The latest offering from Scripps Ranch Theatre is a British bedroom farce, wonderfully staged and acted in a production directed by Jim Caputo. The play, written by Ray Cooney and John Chapman, is in the classic style, with lots of improbable plot situations, confusion, panicked reactions, and actors popping in and out of doors. Get ready for a very funny evening of screwball situations, clever dialogue, physical comedy, and surprising plot twists. Everyone involved in this play did a great job... This production is well worth devoting an evening to enjoying.
The theatre has managed another winner with this play."
Kathleen Downs - San Diego Theatre Scene
"With its flirty, sexy fun and quick-fire wit, the play is wonderfully executed by a strong cast
that doesn’t miss a comedic beat."
José López - Pomerado Newspaper Group
