Evelyn and Rose are lifelong friends as only two 70-ish women in the same building in Brooklyn can be, when trouble appears, and the kids are no help. Come have a cup of coffee with the “girls” and stay a while. We’ll find some rugelach and talk about our thankless children.
“Deeply moving, comical” – Variety
Barbara Barber (Production Manager) is pleased to be producing again for SRT and working with such a talented and dedicated cast and crew. This is her 12th season with SRT, having first helped with the set-strike for Once Upon a Mattress, then as a set-construction volunteer, and finally producing her first play, Scapino, in 2005. Working with SRT has been a very rewarding experience for Barbara.
Laura Scott Ferro (Assistant Production Manager) is a brand new arrival on the SD theatre scene, having spent the better part of the last decade performing in, producing and directing numerous stage productions in Washington DC and environs. She also has appeared on TV, especially on I.D. Channel, where she has been both a murder victim and a suspect. Exhausted from the cross-country move, Laura decided it would be a good idea to “relax” and meet new friends by helping out behind the scenes, which is working out quite well thanks to the great folks here at SRT!
Elise Meehan (Stage Manager) is so excited to be stage managing again at SRT. She has her BA in Theatre Stage Management from UCSD and is getting ready to pursue her MFA in Child Development Theatre. Previous credits include Absurd Person Singular, The Dining Room, Holiday Spirits and Over the River and Through the Woods (SRT), 14 summer seasons of Moonlight Stage Productions, and technical work at Medieval Times, LEGOLAND and Disneyland. Thank you Allan, Jill. Eric, Kelsey and the Cast for your awesomeness, my family for their support and Robby for all your daily love.
Kelsey Dahlke (Assistant Stage Manager) is happy to be returning to SRT. She has a B.A. in Drama from Texas Woman’s University and has worked at Casa Manana in Fort Worth, TX. She also has worked in various theatres around Texas and hopes to continue her love for the arts in San Diego. She wants to thank her loving husband and her wonderful parents for all their support.
Andy Scrimger (Set Design and Construction) has worked on several SRT productions, including An Inspector Calls, Moonlight and Magnolias, The Gift Teller, Postmortem, Absurd Person Singular and Tribute. He has done projects all over the West Coast, including the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. Most recently, he also has worked for Cygnet Theatre and The Old Globe. Andy enjoys design work of all types as President of Volume 11 Graphics, a local sign shop, whose work ranges from window displays to vehicle wraps. He is focused on using environmentally conscious materials and processes.

Angelica Ynfante (Properties Mistress) graduated from Texas State University with a BFA in Theater. She has worked her way around the U.S., including Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Vermont, New York, Tennessee and Kentucky. She also worked in Cancún, Mexico. Angelica finally made it to sunny California where she is currently working her third season as Props Mistress with San Diego Repertory Theatre.
